Skyball Lead Volunteers

This month, many of our Lead volunteers gathered for our first Sky Ball planning meeting. We are excited about celebrating our 20th anniversary of raising funds for our military programs this year! Volunteer registration will be opening up in September, stay tuned!

Power and Vigilance Award

We were invited to attend The Power and Vigilance Award which is presented to the Tenth Air Force unit which best exhibits the Numbered Air Force’s vision as “The premier provider of affordable, integrated, flexible and mission-ready Reserve Citizen Airmen to execute power and vigilance in support of U.S. National Security.” Congratulations to the 477th Fighter Group for being the recipient of this prestigious award!

III Armored Corps Independence Day Barbecue

The Airpower Foundation was honored to have been invited to the III Armored Corps Independence Day Barbecue. This is an annual event held by the Commanding General to say thank you to our community partners for the support they provide the Soldiers and Families of Fort Hood throughout the year. Independence Day means so much to all of us, this is a way Fort Hood can celebrate with our Community Family.
