AIRPOWER FOUNDATION
SKYBALL XX

On behalf of the Airpower Foundation Board of Directors
thank you for “Answering the Call” as Sky Ball XX was an amazing success!
We had incredible attendees including Medal of Honor Recipients, former Vietnam POWs, Purple Heart Recipients, Congressional and local leadership and leadership from all branches of service and the best Patriotic patrons in DFW-Arlington area.
This year was a very special year as we celebrated the 20th Anniversary of raising the much-needed funds for the military programs. Helping those active duty, reserve, Gold Star, and veteran families.
The night opened with honoring our Gold Star families and a portrait presentation by the American Fallen Soldiers Project honoring ITSN Timothy Gauna who lost his life on the USS Cole.
One of the favorite highlights of the night was the presentation of I AM SERGEANT by Fort Hood Soldiers. Sky Ball was the first and only civilian event that this performance was authorized. What and incredible honor and presentation.
We had a Texas sized steak, thank you to Standard Meat. Chef Robert Irvine and Chef Vasquez with Delaware North put on a meal that no one will soon forget!
The “Hope” portion of the show had everyone engaged and “Answering the Call”. From the life changing IBOT giveaway with the Robert Irvine Foundation, to the two vehicles gifted through Caliber Collision Recycled Rides Program and USAA and ending the night with a fun table race with the Sky Ball XX Boot being highly sought after along with the bragging rights.
