Airpower Foundation welcomes Patty Herdlicka to Ambassador team! Long time volunteer and Volunteer Coordinator for the Airpower Foundation. Patty Herdlicka has officially joined the Airpower Foundation Ambassador team. Welcome (officially), Patty! “Volunteering is my calling and I love to work with people who care. I have been volunteering with Fort Worth Airpower Foundation for 17 years now. I started out as a Table Server and progressively took on more responsibility to my current role as the Volunteer Coordinator. I help to organize, greet and facilitate the volunteer experience from start to finish of the gala. I was recognized for this service with the Salute to the Heroes Award at Sky Ball XVII for my years or service and dedication to the organization. My volunteer motto is: Volunteering is an act of heroism on a grand scale. And it matters profoundly. It does more than help people beat the odds; it changes the odds. I also have served as an Ambassador for Holiday and Heroes for 3 years. This event makes the joy of the holiday season a reality for those Americans who deserve it most. I also serve our military members through the American Airlines Veterans Initiative. I have been married to husband Jim for 32 years. We have two daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren.”
