Charlie Cripliver is currently a Deputy Chief of Staff and District Director with US Representative Kay Granger in the United States Congress.  He oversees the operation of the congressional district as well as the State of Texas.  Charlie also served as an Executive Assistant to the Mayor under Granger during her tenure as Mayor of the City of Fort Worth.  Locally educated in the community at Paschal High School and Texas Christian University, Charlie began a 40-year career in law enforcement in 1978 with the Tarrant County Sheriffs Office, the Fort Worth Police Department and the United States Marshals Service.  Mr. Cripliver brings a very broad base of expertise to his board position with the Airpower Foundation, with deep community roots as well as vast experience as a professional negotiator.  His father retired after a 50-year career in aviation in Fort Worth at General Dynamics and Lockheed Martin, sharing much of his passion of flying with Charlie.  Over his adult years in Fort Worth, Charlie has volunteered on many boards of charity and non-profit organizations supporting the community, including as a standing board director of the Fort Worth Airpower Council.  He has two beautiful grown daughters that reside in Fort Worth as well.
