Bruce Stacy

Bruce Stacy was born and raised in Malvern, Arkansas. His education includes Henderson State University BA in sociology and history, Georgia State University MBA in management and the US Army Command and General Staff College Master of Military Arts and Science in advanced tactics. Bruce served over 20 years in the Regular Army with two combat tours in the Vietnam War, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. His final assignment was Professor of Military Science at Texas Christian University. His personal awards include two Silver Star Medals, two Bronze Star Medals (one for valor), two Purple Heart Medals, three Meritorious Service Medals, one Air Medal, four Army Commendation Medals, an Army Achievement Medal, and a Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Gold Star. He earned a Master Parachutist Badge at 65 jumps with a total of 78 career jumps. Bruce’s next career was in financial services, where he started as a rookie stock broker at Merrill Lynch and worked his way up to a Corporate Vice President for UBS PaineWebber and Senior Vice President for Morgan Stanley. In both 2008 and 2009, he was recognized by “On Wall Street” magazine as the financial services industry Branch Manager of the Year. Bruce retired from financial services in 2014 to begin his third career of serving his community through civic leadership. after to serve his community through civic leadership. Bruce is the current Chairman of the Fort Worth Air Power Council. After two years as President of the Colleyville Rotary Club he currently serves as Lieutenant Governor for Rotary District 5790. In 2018, Henderson State University recognized Bruce as a Distinguished Alumni. He is active in many military organizations and in 2021 was inducted into the Arkansas Military Veterans Hall of Fame. Bruce currently serves with Dallas World Affairs Council. As the Fort Worth Air Power Council Chairman of the Board, Bruce looks forward to bolstering community engagement with our local base at the NAS JRB Fort Worth so that ordinary Americans understand the current and ever present need of our local service members.
