Dear Patriot,

On behalf of the Airpower Foundation, we wish you and your family a very happy Forth of July!  As we celebrate the 244th birthday of our nation this holiday weekend, we remember and thank all of our military, veterans and their families from 1776 through today, who have protected and defended the constitution and bill of rights signed on that historic day.  Especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to provide us the freedoms and rights we enjoy today.

As most of the country unfortunately has had to cancel the traditional firework shows, parades, and events we have been able to enjoy in celebration of our nation’s birthday in the past, we hope you and your families are able to be together, be safe and healthy during these unprecedented times we are living in today.

The Airpower Foundation was looking forward to participating in the Arlington Fourth of July Parade, along with the National Medal of Honor Museum. The parade unfortunately had to be canceled, however we would like to share some photos of our float which was to be featured:

From everyone at the Airpower Foundation, we wish you and your families all the best, and thank all those who defend our freedoms and safety everyday.

The Heart Behind Sky Ball

Our premier fundraising event, Airpower Foundation Sky Ball, has raised over $20 million since its inception thanks to our generous sponsors. Sky Ball has grown from a single evening fundraising dinner, to a three-day weekend of events honoring our nation’s military and their families. Events over the weekend include educational outreach programs to local area schools, a concert for military and families Friday evening, culminating with the Black-Tie Sky Ball Gala hosted inside the brand new Globe Life Field with the Texas Rangers!  There simply is no other event in the country that matches the size and scope of Sky Ball.
